What you agree to when you book with Fun Gate, what we are responsible for, what you are responsible for, and what we do with your information.

THE SHORT VERSION

Four things worth knowing before you read the rest

The full terms are below and they govern the booking. This summary is here so the four questions people actually ask are answered without hunting for them.

We arrange, suppliers deliver

We book flights, hotels, transport and guides on your behalf. Those services are run by the airlines and properties themselves, and our liability is limited to what you paid us.

Refunds follow the supplier

When something is called non-refundable it is the hotel’s or the airline’s rule, not ours. Section 9 is the single place refunds are explained.

A visa is the embassy's decision

We prepare and submit the file and check it against your itinerary. Granting or refusing it is not ours to decide, and a refusal does not return money already committed.

Your data stays with the booking

We collect what a booking needs, pass on only what a supplier needs, and never sell it or share it for advertising.

1. Acceptance

By dealing with Fun Gate Travel & Tourism you accept these terms in full, without modification or condition. Continuing to use our services or this website is taken as your agreement to them.
Please read them before you book. They exist to make the responsibilities on both sides explicit, so nothing has to be argued about later.

2. Scope of our responsibility

Fun Gate arranges travel services provided by third parties — airlines, tour operators, hotels, facilities and similar suppliers. We select and manage them carefully, but we are not the provider of those services and we do not control them.
Where a shortfall arises from a third-party supplier, our liability to you is limited to the value of the invoice you paid us. Neither Fun Gate nor its partners, employees or suppliers are liable for indirect damages, obligations or losses arising from this agreement or from the website.

3. Payment security

We take every reasonable measure to protect your information when you pay online, including card details and personal data, and all personal information is encrypted in transit.
If your card is used fraudulently or without authorisation by a third party, most banks and card issuers carry that risk and cover the resulting charges. Contact your bank directly to recover the funds.

4. Before you book

Consult the authorities in your own country and review their travel advisories, warnings and restrictions before booking any international trip. Some destinations carry higher risk than others, and the cost and consequences of travelling to them rest with you.

5. Accommodation

You agree to the booking conditions imposed by the property, including its cancellation and no-show rules.
  • Standard check-in 14:00 · standard check-out 12:00
  • Adjoining and connecting rooms, specific floors, views, villas and chalets are subject to availability at the property
  • Amending, adding to or cancelling a booking follows the property’s own policy
  • Fun Gate is not responsible for loss of personal belongings
  • Our information comes from the suppliers themselves, who are responsible for its accuracy and availability
  • Extras and additional services carry additional charges — confirm with us before requesting them
  • Quotations are valid for 24 hours from the time they are issued
Refunds on confirmed accommodation follow the property’s own cancellation policy. Section 9 explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.

6. Availability of services and facilities

  • We cannot guarantee a requested facility will be available, but we will make every effort to secure it
  • If a service is unavailable on arrival, raise it with the property’s management and tell us as well
  • In unavoidable circumstances we reserve the right to move you to a hotel of the same category

7. Ground transport

  • The pickup vehicle waits up to one hour from your stated arrival time
  • If the driver is delayed or does not arrive, we arrange another vehicle as quickly as possible
  • In some destinations an Arabic-speaking driver carries an additional fee
  • Each vehicle has a fixed passenger and luggage capacity that cannot be exceeded — confirm it before booking
  • Fun Gate is not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles

8. Flights

  • The total price includes all taxes except fees payable directly at the airport
  • Airfares are not fixed and follow airline policy
  • No refund is due for a no-show or for partially used tickets
  • Children aged 24 months or under must travel with an adult of at least 18
  • Passports must be valid for more than 6 months at the travel date
  • Any change or cancellation of a flight is the airline’s responsibility
  • Travel conditions for pregnant passengers are set by the airline directly
  • No refund is due if an airline refuses carriage under its own conditions
  • Fun Gate is not responsible for lost baggage or amounts paid at airports
  • Booking fee — domestic flights: 1% of the total
  • Booking fee — international flights: 5% of the total

9. Changes, cancellation and refunds

This section is the single place refunds are explained. Where an earlier section calls an amount non-refundable, it means the supplier’s own policy allows no refund — not that we decline to process one.
  • Flight changes follow airline rules and penalties, plus an administrative fee of USD 15 (SAR 50) per ticket
  • Some bookings cannot be changed or refunded at all under airline policy
  • Some cases require you to contact the airline directly
  • If you completed online check-in, the airline must be contacted directly to cancel
  • A traveller name that does not match the passport is the client’s responsibility, and a correction fee may apply
  • Cancellation requests are accepted by phone during working hours only, and at least 96 hours before departure
  • Refunds are issued once the supplier approves them and on their terms, less the applicable cancellation charges

10. Visas and travel documents

Fun Gate operates an in-house visa department. We prepare and submit the visa file and check the documentation against the itinerary we built, so that flights, hotel confirmations and dates reconcile before submission.
The decision to grant or refuse a visa rests with the embassy or consulate alone, and we do not carry responsibility for that decision. A refusal does not create a right to a refund of amounts already committed to suppliers.
  • Carrying all valid documents on the day of travel is the client’s responsibility — passport, entry or transit visa, immigration permissions and anything else required
  • You must be at the airport and checked in 3 hours before departure; delay is at your own cost
  • Fun Gate is not responsible for a refusal of boarding or for official departure procedures
  • Government matters in the destination country are the client’s responsibility

11. What we commit to

  • Deliver the agreed programme according to the attached plan
  • Book accommodation under the applicable conditions
  • Provide customer service throughout the programme
  • Meet you on arrival and see you off on departure
  • Operate the tours as set out in the programme

12. What we ask of you

  • Follow the laws of the country you are travelling to
  • Respect local customs and traditions
  • Understand the trip instructions and explain them to your family
  • Keep track of your personal belongings throughout
  • Look after the safety of children and family, particularly while swimming and in transit
The amount paid does not include medical travel insurance, and Fun Gate does not arrange insurance on your behalf. Currency conversion differences are borne by the client. We are not responsible for emergencies such as security incidents or natural disasters.

13. What we collect and why

We collect only what a booking actually requires.
  • What you send us — name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, travel dates, number of travellers and anything you include in an enquiry form or message
  • Booking documents — passport details and supporting documents, where a visa or reservation requires them
  • Website usage — standard analytics through Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally
We use this to prepare quotations, make and manage bookings, process visa files, and reply to you. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

14. Sharing, retention and your rights

  • Suppliers — hotels, airlines, transport companies and embassies receive only what is necessary to deliver your booking
  • Payment providers — we do not store full card numbers; payment data is handled by the provider
  • Authorities — we may disclose information where a legal process requires it, to protect or defend our rights, or to cooperate with a security or law-enforcement investigation
Booking records are kept for as long as accounting and legal obligations require, then deleted. Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept only while they are still live.
Your rights. Write to info@fungatetravel.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, and we will respond. Deletion may not be possible while a booking is live or where records must be kept for legal reasons.
Cookies. This site uses cookies that keep it working and cookies that measure traffic through Google Analytics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the site will still work, but some things may be less convenient.

15. Security

If you become aware of a security breach, misuse of your username, or any unauthorised access through it, tell us as soon as you discover it so we can act.
We do not guarantee that the website will run without interruption or be free of errors or viruses, but we work to keep the experience reliable.

16. The website and its content

This site is for personal use. Information taken from it may not be distributed, exchanged, modified, sold or transmitted for any business or commercial purpose — this includes text, images, audio and video files.

17. Disputes

If a dispute arises between you and Fun Gate Travel & Tourism during or after your use of this website, it is referred to arbitration.

The seat of arbitration is Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and these terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Proceedings are administered by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration under its rules in force at the time the claim is filed, before a single arbitrator, in Arabic or English as the parties agree.

Nothing here removes any right you hold under the consumer-protection law of your own country. If a mandatory rule where you live gives you a right to bring a claim locally, that rule prevails over this clause.

This clause should be confirmed by a lawyer in the Kingdom before it is relied on, and re-checked if the company’s registered seat changes.

Ask us before you book, not after

If any clause here affects a booking you are considering, raise it with us first. We would rather explain it once than argue about it later.
